7 Great Restaurants in Cape Coral

Fish Tale Grill

1229 SE 47th Terrace B, Cape Coral

Fish Tale Grill is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cape Coral, and not just because of the “Best of Cape Coral" accolades it’s been garnering since 2013!

This is a lovely, relaxed and modern upscale venue living up to its name and specializing in delicious innovative seafood dishes.

Fish Tale Grill is actually owned by Merrick Seafood, the premiere seafood distributer in Florida.

This means you’re guaranteed to dine on the freshest catch sourced daily at this Cape Coral restaurant.

Choose from the extensive menu of appetizers featuring delicious bites like Sesame Seared Tuna. Platters, pasta dishes, and Signature Dishes give plenty of seafood choices.

Not a huge fan of fish?

There’s also a very nice meat lovers section on the menu featuring top cuts of beef.

Or if raw bars are your style, in season are fresh Gulf oysters, blue point oysters, and Pine Island middle neck clams.

Many restaurants scale down their lunch menu, but not here.

For lunch you can order from the raw bar, sandwiches, a great selection of salads and appetizers, platters, and one of our favorites for lunch, Fish Tale Tacos. Saturday and Sunday brunch with bottomless Bloody Marys is served from 11am to 1pm.

A full-service bar creating tropical specialty drinks along with a very nice wine list, and a selection of beers add to this restaurant as an excellent choice.

Nevermind Awesome Bar and Eatery

927 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral

With a name like Nevermind Awesome Bar and Eatery, you’ll definitely be intrigued by this Cape Coral restaurant.

And surprisingly, the name isn’t the most noteworthy aspect of it.

Nevermind Awesome Bar and Eatery was started by Chef Shannon Yates in 2012.

Prior to Nevermind, Chef Yates worked in some of the best restaurants in Fort Myers.

But when she decided to open her own eatery, Chef Yates unknowingly started Cape Coral’s food scene revamp.

Featuring an eclectic menu with great burgers, steaks, creamy mac ‘n cheese, seafood, a full service bar, and outdoor seating make Nevermind a great place for lunch or a casual dinner.

Be sure to leave room for a few conuts – a surprising cookie donut treat!

Point 57 Kitchen & Cocktails

3522 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral

The best Cape Coral restaurants have a welcoming atmosphere, amazing service, and mouthwatering food – and Point 57 Kitchen & Cocktails has it all!

This contemporary American restaurant focuses on casual but sophisticated food made from fresh locally sourced ingredients that compliment their steaks and seafood.

When you first walk into Point 57 Kitchen & Cocktails, you’ll find a friendly staff, an open kitchen, and a well-stocked bar.

It’s surely one of the most welcoming spots in town and has earned a 4 stars rating from local food critic, Jean Le Boeuf.

Point 57 is one of the best places to eat in Cape Coral, and they’re committed to using fresh locally sourced ingredients, which means the menu changes with the season.

But no matter what you select you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

The eclectic dinner menu is a nice combination of land and sea with things like a crispy pork shank and shrimp and grits.

For lunch we love the mahi-mahi fish and chips.

Sunday brunch has a very good selection of menu items and is served from 10am to 3pm.

Brunch also features bottomless mimosas & bubbles, and Tito’s Mega Mary, or choose from an extensive selection of craft drinks, a nice wine list, and local craft beer selections.

Nice Guys Pizza & Beer

1404 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral

Nice Guys Pizza may be the quirkiest restaurant in town but it has some of the best pizza Cape Coral has to offer.

This punk-esque eatery has everything from glow-in-the-dark wall art to old school pinball machines to post-it-covered bathroom walls.

This no-frills bar makes 15 different pizzas, pub fare, and serves great craft beers.

The menu is just as alluringly chaotic as the décor. Order anything from the corn dogs with black truffle honey mustard to the fried chicken-topped General Tso’s pizza.

And that doesn’t even include anything from the extensive vegan menu!

You can be sure that the wild desserts menu will grab your attention before you head out.

There’s deep fried Oreos, Euro trash donuts, or what they call the future cavity — a decadent pizza covered with Nutella, marshmallow, banana and peanut butter.

Try the weekly Wednesday trivia night along with a pizza and a cold one.
