Our Favorite Strawberry Festivals in Florida
Are you looking for strawberry festivals in Florida? We’ve picked out some of our favorites and are sure you’ll love them, too.

In addition to our delicious and fresh varieties of citrus fruits, Florida is also known for growing sweet and tasty strawberries.

Strawberry festivals in Florida are significant events that draw large crowds — which is why we always like to go to events EARLY.

The Sunshine State has thousands and thousands of acres of strawberries. They grow during strawberry season, which typically runs from September through May each year.

Plant City, Florida, is even known as the “Winter Strawberry Capital of the World”.

Check out some of our favorite Authentic Florida recipes for strawberry-inspired treats like cake, ice cream, and pound cake.

The historical legacy of the Florida strawberry is a part of American history. It dates back over a hundred years ago.

Henry Plant had the idea to build a railroad to Tampa. It created opportunities for local Florida growers to sell their produce all over the East Coast.

With Florida’s rich and tasty abundance of strawberries, it is no surprise that cities and towns all around the state host strawberry festivals to celebrate their harvests.

We have gathered our favorites in 2026.
Make sure to take a trip out for one (or some) of these fruitful social events for a fun, memorable Florida experience.
