The selection of Florida events in January 2026 is in the works. Some of the best ones run on the same weekend, so it can be challenging to decide where to go.

Our goal is to give our initial list, so you can narrow down what Florida events in January 2026 are a must-attend for you.

No matter where you venture, it’s a perfect time to check out these Florida-based events and their surrounding areas.

More Information: Polar Bear Plunge is another fun New Year’s Day event in Northwest Florida. The event involves plunging into the Santa Rosa Sound.

Many participants came dressed in costumes like sharks and dinosaurs, and even the Grinch was spotted.

Participants should register in advance. Proceeds from the event go to the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce.
