We’ve narrowed our list of Florida Festivals in March to a few of our favorites you won’t want to miss.

These events happen to be sprinkled throughout the Sunshine State, so plan a weekend getaway and explore the surrounding areas.

The Gulf Coast Renaissance Fair and Pirate Festival – Milton

The Gulf Coast Renaissance Fair and Pirate Festival

When: February 28th through March 1st and March 7th and 8th, 2026

Where: Five Flags Speedway, 7451 Pine Forest Rd, Pensacola, FL 32526

More Information: This Milton event is where pirates, the Wild West, and the Renaissance meet for one big, unique celebration.

The 2-day/2-weekend event has a schedule packed full of entertainment. From jousting to theatrical performances to pirate music, this festival has it all.

Admission for this event is $15 per adult and $10 per child ages 6 to 17. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Two-day weekend passes are available at discounted rates.

91st Annual Florida Strawberry Festival – Plant City

More Information: The Florida Strawberry Festival is the biggest strawberry festival in the state.

More Information: The Floral City Strawberry Festival celebrates its tasty namesake with a weekend of fun.

This event has been a local tradition for generations.

The weekend has booths filled with crafts, artists, local non-profits, and commercial vendors offering their wares in colorfully decorated booths throughout Floral Park.

The Beer Garden by the main stage offers multiple selections of beer and wine. Local and touring musical talent entertain.

Children have lots of fun things to do at this event, including participating in the pie-eating contest.

There’s a wide variety of inflatables and bounce houses, the wildly popular aqua tumble bubbles, and the challenging rock-climbing wall.

6th Annual Florida Luxe Arts Festival (FLLUXE) – Panama City Beach

Chalk artists, musicians, and artisan vendors color the streets of downtown Panama City with eye-catching 3-D installations, groovy sounds, and unique handcrafted goods in this 2-day event.

This family-friendly event is free to the public! Plus, it happens rain-or-shine.

Come down on Friday to see the artists at work creating their installations, then return on Saturday to see the finished product!

More Information: Swamp Fest has grown from a small community fundraising festival to an annual event that draws thousands from all over the country.

For just $5, guests can enjoy arts and crafts vendors, live music, food trucks, and even a swamp monster contest.

The Swamp Monster contest is a yearly costume contest where contestants of all ages come dressed as their version of a swamp monster at this Florida festival in March.

South Florida Food Fest & Craft Fair – Boca Raton

South Florida Food Fest and Craft Fair

More Information: One of South Florida’s largest food festivals is the South Florida Food Fest & Craft Fair in Boca Raton.

The 2-day event has vendors serving a la carte tasting menus, so you can sample food from a wide variety of businesses.

General admission is $10 per person for one day and $15 per person for a weekend pass. Children ages 10 and younger are admitted free.

More Information: It’s a great place to pick out some new plants or flowers at the Leu Gardens Plant Sale.

50+ vendors will be participating in the event this year.

Growers sell a variety of plants, including annuals, bamboo, bromeliads, butterfly plants, camellias, ferns, fruit trees, gingers, heliconias, herbs, native plants, orchids, palms, plumerias, roses, vines, and more.

Bring a wagon or cart if you plan to buy plants. The parking lot fills up fast, so you may have a bit of a hike back to your car.

More information: Astronomy fans know that March is a great time to stargaze, and what better place to do that than the MOAS Night Sky Festival in Daytona Beach?

We love this cool event that celebrates the night sky. The evening has guest speakers, shows, and other astronomy-themed programming.

The outdoor festival is free to attend. Lohman Planetarium shows are $7 for non-members.
