Top Florida Events in July
Fourth of July events needed their own article. However, there are other cool July events in Florida that deserve attention.

These are a few of our personal favorites that happen to be sprinkled throughout the Sunshine State.

We highly recommend planning a weekend getaway and exploring the surrounding areas.
Key Lime Festival – Key West

When: July 1st through July 5th, 2026

Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival – Jupiter and Royal Palm Beach

When: July 9th through the 12th & 16th through the 19th, 2026
Where: Carlin Park, Jupiter, and Commons Park, Royal Palm Beach – 400 Florida A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

More information: Bring comfy blankets and chairs for these outdoor performances.

Outside food is permitted, and the events will also have food trucks.

42nd Annual Lower Keys Underwater Music Festival – Looe Key

When: July 11th, 2026
Where: Looe Key Reef, Looe Key
More information: Learn about environmentalism, conservation, and our wonderful coral reefs at this unique Florida event.
Friday night includes a gathering at Mote Marine Laboratory’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research and Restoration, where tours are hosted and information is shared regarding reef restoration efforts.
On Saturday, there’s an underwater concert at Looe Key Reef, featuring a local radio station’s music broadcast on underwater speakers.

Red, White, and Blues Week featuring the Blue Angels – Pensacola Beach

When: July 15th through the 18th, 2026
Where: Pensacola Beach
More Information: This highly anticipated event showcases the world-famous Blue Angels, Pensacola’s hometown heroes, as they soar high over Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island.

Leading up to the main event, you can catch the Blue Angels practicing along the beach.
These practice sessions are a fantastic way to get a sneak peek at the incredible aerial maneuvers and precision flying the Blue Angels are known for.

Mango Festival – Miami

When: July 13th and 14th, 2026
Where: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, Miami, Florida 33156

More information: It’s time to celebrate all things mango. At the Mango Festival, you can enjoy food tastings, shopping for mango trees, cooking demos, classes, and more.

Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament

When: July 9th through the 18th, 2026

Cool Art Show – St. Petersburg

More information: PAVA’s (Professional Association of Visual Artists) 34th Annual Cool Art Show features collections from various artists.
The event also includes artist demonstrations and a kids’ activity area.

Hemingway Days – Key West

When: July 22nd through July 26th, 2026
Where: Key West, various locations
More information: Ernest Hemingway was a famous American writer who lived in Key West, Florida, for part of his life.
July 21st marks the author’s birthday, celebrated in Key West with various events, including a street fair, an exhibit of memorabilia, a 5K race, and most notably, a Hemingway Look-Alike Contest.

35th Annual Caladium Fest – Lake Placid
